We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Scientific Director to lead our research and innovation efforts in Cardiovascular Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic direction and expert professional leadership across the network.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to a broad range of clinical/scientific/technical services in the field of vascular science/clinical diagnostic services.
- Develop and implement research and innovation initiatives with national/international impact.
- Direct and manage the introduction of new methods, techniques, and service improvements utilizing best available evidence and national guidelines.
- Co-lead the services and resources of MAVRIC to ensure accreditation standards are met and services are delivered in a timely manner.

Person Specification:- Honours degree or equivalent in Medical, Biological or Physical Sciences (1st or 2.1)
- Full Accreditation/Fellowship with the College and Society for Clinical Vascular Science of Great Britain and Ireland
- PGCert in Ultrasound
- Physics A level or equivalent
