Programme Management Director

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to undertake a key leadership role within our Integrated Care Board (ICB) Programme Management Office (PMO) team, as well as both ICB and System Financial Recovery Programmes.
This is a two-year fixed secondment opportunity, offering hybrid working arrangements between office and home. Our office base is located at Pemberton House, Sunderland.
Main Responsibilities- Support the development of long-term strategic plans and lead on the development and implementation of detailed annual programmes of work and delivery strategies, including key objectives and milestones.
- Support project management processes across the organisation, ensuring inter-dependencies across multiple partners and transformation programmes are understood and meet the needs of the local populations.
- Contribute to the development of services and projects, ensuring they align with the organisation's priorities and meet the needs of the local communities.
Our ICB is the largest in the country, responsible for ensuring high-quality and safe health services are accessible to all communities. We have a £6 billion budget and a workforce of 170,000 people across the North East and North Cumbria, as well as strategic functions.
We work closely with our Provider Collaborative, which includes the 11 NHS Foundation Trusts in the region, to deliver our shared priorities.

Person Specification- Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience at a senior level.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience of managing and developing teams to deliver positive performance.
- Experience of managing and successfully delivering complex projects.
- Prince 2 or other Project Management qualification.
- Transformation and service improvement.
