Precision Machinist

SmartSourcing PLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a precision engineering environment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality products.

• Operate CNC Machines: Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
• Quality Control: Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of products.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience working in a precision engineering environment.
• Skills: Proficient in operating CNC machines, including grinding, milling, turning, and polishing.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift weights in excess of 5kgs and perform physical activities such as transporting products.

• Competitive Salary: Up to £30k + shift allowance.
• Benefits: 10% on top of salary for late shift, time and a half for weekends, and a 2-shift rota.
