About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing patient-centered care to inpatients on the acute medical and surgical inpatient wards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop treatment plans to facilitate safe and timely hospital discharge for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational performance and independence.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, including quality improvement projects and professional development opportunities.

Requirements
