Shape the Future of Connected Embedded Devices

Join ARM, a leader in the semiconductor industry, and contribute to the development of next-generation connected embedded devices and solutions. As a Chief SoC Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technology roadmap and driving innovation in SoC system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership and product planning teams to develop technology roadmaps.
  • Translate technology requirements into platform architecture, encompassing hardware, software, tools, and other components.
  • Work proactively across ARM's architecture and core technology teams to ensure a roadmap of architecture platforms and technology feature development supporting the needs of ARM-based embedded device SoCs.
  • Evaluate architecture proposals, internal and external IP features, and provide influential and inspirational leadership across hardware, software, and platform groups to align all parties to a common vision of architecture and technology development.
  • Represent ARM with high technical credibility in customer meetings, incorporating feedback appropriately.
  • Create high-level architecture specifications to enable engineering teams to craft and verify platforms addressing the embedded device market segments.
  • Design experiments and analyses to answer architectural questions and develop simulators, models, profilers, and other methods and tools as necessary to implement the analyses.
  • Communicate results and technical concepts clearly and credibly across audiences ranging from individual hardware or software development engineers to architecture community peers and high-level technology and business leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in EEECECECS or related fields required; MS or PhD advantageous.
  • Proven track record in embedded SoC architectures involving Cortex-M and Cortex-A CPUs or related work experience.
  • Deep technical background and credibility in the embedded SoC area.
  • Proven track record to drive progress in an ambiguous environment.
  • Collaborative and influential across organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple teams.

  • Experience working within the semiconductor industry.
