As a Kitchen Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to ensure that our kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. You will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving and replenishing food counters, and supporting with cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and workstations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Serve and replenish food counters
  • Support with cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and workstations
  • Ensure that dishwash area and equipment is kept clean
  • Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment
Requirements
  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn
  • Cheerful outlook, professionalism, and respect for others
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Willing to learn new skills, Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
