About the Role

Churchill Estates Management Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lodge Manager for our retirement community. We are looking for an individual who enjoys engaging with people and possesses a strong background in administration and customer service. This diverse and fulfilling role involves coordinating the community's operations and activities, ensuring a positive impact on the lives of our residents, and facilitating a seamless retirement living experience.

As the Lodge Manager, you will report directly to the Area Manager and will be responsible for maintaining the property while delivering exceptional service to residents. In this independent role, you will be the trusted on-site representative and a friendly presence for residents. Your responsibilities will include liaising with various stakeholders, managing contractors, scheduling maintenance, conducting health and safety assessments, organizing events, and much more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property.
  • Provide first-class service to residents, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Coordinate activities and events that enhance community engagement.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure a secure environment.
About You

This role is ideally suited for individuals with experience in retirement living, social housing, hospitality, or related fields. A successful Lodge Manager will have a passion for customer service and excellent administrative capabilities.

To thrive in this position, you should possess an outgoing personality and a genuine love for working with people. You will need to demonstrate sensitivity and diplomacy while also exhibiting the efficiency and assertiveness required to maintain the safety and security of the community. Although you will interact frequently with residents, you should also be comfortable working independently and using your initiative.

Proficiency in administration and computer skills is essential, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Outlook.
