Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to provide technical support to projects throughout the company. As a key member of our team, you will liaise between Customers, Engineering, and Project Managers to deliver quality products that meet project requirements and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Ensure vehicles and associated equipment are correctly manufactured, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Technical Expertise: Diagnose and fix faults, conduct functional testing of equipment, and complete test paperwork accurately.
  • Client Communication: Demonstrate systems to customers, answer technical queries, and provide continuous improvement suggestions.
  • Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate commissioning activities within manufacturing facilities, and act as a point of contact with Client representatives during testing phases.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the Production team and build as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring Health & Safety protocols are followed.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-delivery quality checks, and perform QA checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Essential Skills: Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, strong leadership and logistical skills, and customer-friendly approach.
  • Education and Experience: HNC in electrical or mechanical discipline, minimum of 5 years' experience in reactive maintenance, and fault-finding experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
