Job Title: ALM Modelling Manager

The ALM Modelling Manager will report to the Head of Structured Asset Solutions at SCOR. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain ALM models to analyse financial risks arising from future and existing structured reinsurance transactions.
  • Advise on management of financial risks relating to Structured Asset Solutions.
  • Provide internal education and training on Asset and Liability Management (ALM) to colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop structured pricing models.
  • Monitor financial markets and their potential impact on in-force transactions.
  • Assist in the development of marketing material for Financial Solutions.
  • Contribute to the approval process for transactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or Management.
  • Actuarial, accounting, or CFA qualification welcomed.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, consulting, banking, or asset management.
  • Familiarity with ALM techniques and practice.
  • Working knowledge of liability-driven and/or cash-flow driven investment strategies.
Personal Competencies:
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Comfortable with dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Digital Competencies:
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Experience of working with ALM models and market data.
  • Basic programming skills (Python, VBA, or other).
