Job Description:

As an Installation Mechanic at Otis College of Art and Design, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to install and maintain various mechanical systems, including elevators, to ensure the safety and comfort of our students, faculty, and staff.

  • Install new mechanical systems, including elevators, with precision and attention to detail
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with our facilities team to identify and address any mechanical issues
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mechanical installation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including elevators
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
