Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Blom and Blom. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and development of our nursery setting, promoting a safe, caring, and stimulating environment, and supporting the provision of outstanding childcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and development of the nursery setting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Support and promote the provision of outstanding childcare, including the development of engaging and challenging programs.
- Support staff development, including training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Liaise with local authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE, or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum 18 months of nursery management experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements.
- Ability to identify priorities and meet outcomes, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
