About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Specialised Carer to join our team. As a Specialised Carer, you will provide essential and practical care to help older adults live independently in their homes. Your role will involve:

  • Providing personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in aged or community care, or a willingness to learn and develop your skills
  • A valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or a willingness to obtain one)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the changing needs of our clients
