Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Research Assistant to enhance our Editorial team. This dynamic position involves supporting the organization of conferences that address critical topics in energy, environment, infrastructure, and transportation, facilitating informed discussions among legislators, government officials, regulators, and other stakeholders. You will collaborate with various departments within our organization, showcasing professionalism, sensitivity, and a strong commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes promptly.

Upcoming conferences will cover diverse subjects such as transportation strategies, urban mobility in London, high-speed rail projects, sustainable aviation, zero-emission vehicles, maritime issues, energy efficiency, energy security, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough research on relevant issues, emerging trends, potential speakers, and key contacts within the policy domain
  • Ensuring that conferences remain current, relevant, and inclusive, leaving no stakeholders behind in significant discussions
  • Drafting conference agendas, invitations for delegates and speakers, and content for our online platforms
  • Coordinating with speakers and Parliamentary chairs
  • Participating in and contributing to the seamless execution of our seminars and receptions, whether online or in various locations across the UK
