Position Overview:
Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking to hire a Precision Machining Specialist on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machine tools with exceptional accuracy to produce components that meet stringent size and surface finish specifications, while minimizing waste.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the machine shop team and liaise with production support functions, including production control, engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed using the shop floor computer system.
  • Adhere to planned production schedules and strive to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Utilize the correct technical drawings and select appropriate inspection tools, ensuring they are properly calibrated.
  • Support the development and training of apprentices and new team members.
  • Implement and uphold 6S principles within the quality control department to meet audit standards.

Qualifications:
We require candidates to possess the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and effectively use inspection and testing equipment.

Working Conditions:
This role is a full-time, permanent position, requiring 37 hours of work per week.
