Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team at CCG Commercial. As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine repairs, maintenance, and MOT preparation on various makes and models of heavy and light commercial vehicles, trailers, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions
  • Attend training and stay up-to-date with the latest technical information
  • Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
  • Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Provide information, maintain records, and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
  • Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies, and standard procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Carry out Ministry Inspections and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles
  • Carry out diagnostic reports and repairs
  • Must have a can-do attitude

Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy goods vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle technology and systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
