Due to their expansion, a position has opened for a trainee fabricator.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a trainee fabricator, you will report directly to the depot manager and be an integral part of a cohesive team. Your journey will involve gaining experience and skills to contribute to the company's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Utilize basic fabricating or joinery skills, either from prior experience or education
• Operate hand tools such as routers, millers, and drills
• Interpret job sheets and technical drawings for product manufacturing
• Perform basic data entry tasks on computer systems
• Support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the organization
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment
• Undertake additional tasks as required

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. You should be motivated to advance your career, inquisitive, and possess problem-solving skills.

• Highly motivated with effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Previous experience in joinery or fabrication is advantageous, but training will be provided
• Must demonstrate a proactive approach to personal development and teamwork
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and a quick learner
