About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Accounting Specialist to join our team in Preston. As a Management Accountant, you will lead the Management Accounts Team in delivering monthly management accounts and supporting the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process.
You will work closely with Finance Business Partners to provide a standardised reporting and analysis suite across the portfolio of Faculty and Service Budget Holders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Management Accounts Team in delivering monthly management accounts and supporting the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process.
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners to provide a standardised reporting and analysis suite across the portfolio of Faculty and Service Budget Holders.
- Provide financial support, budget setting, strategic planning and review, and operational delivery.
- Enhance the financial support provided by the Financial Planning & Accounting team, contributing to the organisation's success in a rapidly changing sector.
Requirements
- AAT Level 4/Part qualified and studying for a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in disciplined management accounting and forecasting processes.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with both finance and non-finance managers.
