Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting on behalf of clients who lack capacity due to mental health issues, learning difficulties, and dementia
  • Providing sensitive and empathetic support to clients and their families
  • Developing and implementing effective case strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Working closely with other professionals, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and other legal experts
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law related to Court of Protection

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Court of Protection Caseworker
  • Strong knowledge of Court of Protection law and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
