Join Our Team as a Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team at Venture Up, a company that specializes in sports technology. As a Python Developer, you will be working on a new piece of software that ingests race and car data to enable greater visibility on key information for racing teams to make better data-driven decisions.

The software is currently in an early alpha stage, and we are looking for someone to help with the ongoing development of this platform. You will be collaborating with 3 other Engineers and a Quant Modeller to work on a range of new features, bug fixes, and growing out an application at its early stages.

As a Python Developer, you will have the opportunity to attend race days as part of this role, where you will see the practical implementation of the software that you are developing, as well as speaking to the users to understand their requirements further.

Requirements
  • 2+ years experience of Python, as well as strong experience working with APIs
  • An active interest in the motorsport industry
  • Some experience of JavaScript, experience with React would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Willingness to work on a product in the early stages of development
  • Ability to travel for race-days across England
