Bridge Recruitment UK Ltd is seeking a skilled AC Engineer to enhance our client's dedicated team. This role is essential for maintaining high standards in the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial air conditioning and chiller systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the installation of new air conditioning systems and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns, replacing faulty components as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot system functionality issues and communicate findings to supervisors to explore additional business opportunities.
  • Conduct safety inspections to confirm compliance with safety standards and proactively address potential hazards.
  • Participate in refurbishments, enhancing systems, replacing outdated equipment, and improving energy efficiency.
  • Join the on-call team (on a rotational basis) to respond to emergency service requests.
  • Uphold health and safety standards on-site.
  • Complete risk assessments, RAMs, and other compliance documentation.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Report incidents and near misses to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and commissioning of boiler systems and gas appliances.
  • Maintain accurate records of engineer reports, test sheets, and service documentation.
  • Log equipment details and part numbers to streamline the ordering of spare parts.
  • Manage the hiring and return of equipment required on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • F Gas qualification is essential.
  • Competence in utilizing technology for workflow management and reporting.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
