Hardware in the Loop Test and Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware in the Loop Test and Development Specialist to help visualize our future HiL Testing and Validation strategy. The successful candidate will support the development of next-generation software validation and manage the maintenance of development vehicles and HiL rigs used for BMS testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing of BMS and related systems.
  2. Perform cell characterization tests to determine the performance and behavior of battery cells.
  3. Support cell data analysis to understand capacity, efficiency, thermal characteristics, and degradation mechanisms.
  4. Execute HiL tests to validate BMS functionality and performance under various conditions.
  5. Manage and maintain development vehicles and HiL rigs used for BMS testing.
Requirements:
  1. Strong knowledge of battery systems, BMS, and HiL testing methodologies.
  2. Experience setting up test automations in model-based testing labs.
  3. Experience of using Speedgoat/dSPACE hardware and toolchain.
  4. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
  5. Experience in designing and implementing HiL test applications.
  6. Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, writing test scripts, and generating test reports.
  7. Experience of using Matlab Simulink toolchain.
