Science Teacher Opportunity in Alternative Provision

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at our Alternative Provision in Burnley. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and accessible science lessons to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver dynamic and creative science lessons tailored to the needs of our students.
  • Utilize strong behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to remove barriers to learning and promote student success.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to contribute to the ongoing development of our provision.
What We're Looking For
  • A qualified Science Teacher with a genuine passion for working in alternative education.
  • Experience in managing challenging behavior with patience, resilience, and consistency.
  • A commitment to making a meaningful impact on students' lives by helping them overcome obstacles to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
