Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the South West and Midlands regions of the UK. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing specialist packaging equipment used in the food industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance and installation services for specialist protein-based packaging equipment
  • Work on a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, with approximately 80% planned and 20% reactive
  • Act as the main representative of the company while on customer sites
  • Evaluate customer needs, define expectations, and plan and organize service, maintenance, or installation work
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, and recommend repairs or replacement of systems and equipment
  • Provide customers with detailed instructions for installations, maintenance, testing, and corrective actions
Requirements:
  • Previous experience maintaining or servicing process, packaging, or similar equipment is required
  • Mechanical and electrical skills are essential
  • Pneumatic or hydraulic knowledge is required
