Position: Technical Maintenance Specialist

Company: Pertemps Telford

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday | 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM | Includes a 30-minute lunch break and two 10-minute breaks throughout the day.

Compensation Package:
Annual salary of £40,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and effective operation of overhead gantry cranes and associated systems to maintain high standards.
- Conduct maintenance on machinery and equipment to guarantee safe and efficient functionality, minimizing downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Schedule maintenance activities around production needs.
- Perform tasks at heights as required.
- Adhere to best practices, relevant legal regulations, and company standards in all work.
- Work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs, including interpreting electrical diagrams and identifying machine issues.
- Service and repair hoisting equipment.
- Procure necessary equipment to ensure essential spare parts are readily available for breakdowns.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance design and reduce manufacturing costs through effective consultation.
- Exhibit strong communication skills.
- Maintain a flexible approach to job responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications:
- City and Guilds Level 2/3.
- Electrical Installation Certification (17th/18th Edition).
- Proven experience in maintaining overhead cranes.
- Capability to work at heights.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
