Respiratory Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Respiratory Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS FT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development and improvement of our respiratory services.
As a Locum Respiratory Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and conditions, including acute respiratory medicine and general medicine. You will be expected to provide expert clinical care, communicate effectively with patients and their families, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development and improvement of our respiratory services
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families
- Providing expert clinical care and advice
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of care plans
Requirements:
- Be a GMC registered Doctor (you do NOT need to be on the Specialist Register)
- Have relevant experience at Consultant level, or references to support your transition up to Consultant level
- Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (unfortunately locum jobs aren't able to offer visa sponsorship)
- You will need to pass an enhanced background check (DBS)
