Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and proactive Senior Outpatient Nursing Specialist to assist the Outpatient Manager and the clinical team.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of enhancing patient care and improving customer satisfaction while ensuring optimal clinical outcomes. A strong commitment to developing high-quality, evidence-based practices is essential, along with the determination and enthusiasm necessary to drive success in a dynamic healthcare landscape. Reporting directly to the Outpatient Manager, you will also collaborate closely with the Head of Clinical Services to lead and implement significant initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
• Extensive clinical experience in a hospital environment
• Proven experience in a senior nursing role with interaction among various stakeholders, including medical professionals, patients, and suppliers
• A keen interest in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and readiness to take a leadership role
• Capable of overseeing daily operations of the Outpatient Department while providing guidance and support to the nursing team
• Valid Professional Registration with the NMC/HCPC
• Assist in staff scheduling to ensure optimal utilization of resources within the outpatient setting
• Engage in clinical governance activities, including audits and incident investigations
• Participate in patient care delivery, serving as a role model to uphold the highest professional standards
• Ensure efficient management of consumables and inventory levels
• Maintain regular communication with the maintenance team to uphold service schedules for outpatient equipment
• Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to effectively utilize promotional materials
• Proficient in resource allocation to maintain agreed activity levels
• Establish effective controls for monitoring and managing clinical documentation
• Foster a positive team environment and support all staff members
