We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site plant, equipment, operations, and personnel, ensuring smooth and productive operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and resource for long-term and short-term site objectives, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Execute quarry and waste management plans, adhering to regulatory permits and health & safety guidelines.
- Deliver safe and controlled plan delivery, within agreed timescales, and manage plant defect reporting to minimize downtime.
- Manage site administration, including weekly costing information, purchase order submission, payroll, productivity reporting, and compliance checklists.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met, and administration is completed in accordance with company or external requirements.
- Manage HR-related tasks, including holidays, absenteeism, recruitment, reviews, performance management, training, and briefings.
- Maintain site housekeeping standards and infrastructure, and manage all aspects of site compliance, including environmental compliance.
- Responsible for site safety and security, ensuring all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes are carried out.
- Experience of working with regulatory permits, health & safety guidelines, and site operating plans.
- Experience in landfill, quarrying, and/or civil engineering.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to present a positive and professional image.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to take personal responsibility for making things happen.
- Able to manage conflict and maintain collaborative team-working.
- A competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000.
