KS1 Intervention Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced KS1 Intervention Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Enfield, North London. As a KS1 Intervention Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support and assistance to students in Key Stage 1, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support and assistance to students in Key Stage 1
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Support students with mixed abilities, including those with SEN needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in an education-related subject
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in a primary school setting
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
