Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at ASC Connections Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance manager to develop and implement maintenance budgets and plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics, including downtime, productivity, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Relevant electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (HND/HNC).
  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
