Job Title: Apprentice Commercial Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Commercial Quantity Surveyor. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with project costs, agreeing costs with sub-contractors, and preparing valuations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project cost management and control
  • Agree costs with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Prepare accurate and timely valuations
  • Attend meetings with main contractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure payments are received in accordance with contracts
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Raise purchase orders and manage inventory
  • Ensure final account payments are received in accordance with contracts
Requirements:
  • Currently studying or have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage but not essential
