About the Role:
Tewv Brits is seeking a highly skilled Child Psychologist to join our team in a flexible working arrangement. As a Child Psychologist, you will work with vulnerable and care-experienced children, young people, families, and carers in a health or local authority setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highly specialist psychological assessments of young people with complex conditions.
- Identify and report concerns regarding the safeguarding of children who may be at risk.
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for young people and provide specialist advice to other professionals.
- Formulate plans for highly specialist psychological therapy and/or management of clients' mental health conditions.
- Implement a range of highly specialist psychological therapies for individuals, carers, families, and groups.
- Provide highly specialist psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to other staff contributing directly to young people's diagnosis, formulation, and intervention plan.
Requirements:
- Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
- Trained in care coordination.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Registration with BPS.
