Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to be responsible for the design, build, and commissioning of automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC/HMI and 6 axis robot programming, as well as experience with Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build bespoke automation systems for various industries, including Automotive and Medical sectors.
- Program PLC/HMI and 6 axis robots to meet customer requirements.
- Assist with the installation of automation systems at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.
- Support customers during commissioning stages, including IO checks, PLC setup, network setup, and robot programming.
- HNC/HND qualified in an Electrical discipline.
- Experience in PLC/HMI and 6 axis robot programming.
- Experience with Siemens PLC/HMI systems, with training provided for other systems.
- Ability to travel across the UK and Ireland for installations.
- Willingness to attend supplier training courses as required.
