Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Bournemouth Airport. As an Air Traffic Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control air traffic to prevent collisions and minimize delays
  • Communicate with pilots and other air traffic control personnel to ensure safe and efficient flight operations
  • Manage and coordinate flight plans, including takeoffs, landings, and en route flights
  • Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure smooth airport operations
  • Stay up-to-date with changing weather conditions and air traffic control procedures

Requirements

  • Current UK CAA Licence with ADI & APS Ratings
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and maintain a flexible attitude in relation to shift hours and operational requirements
  • Disclosure and Barring Services Check (DBS/Criminal record check) required

Salary and Benefits

Salary up to £76,057.80 dependent on experience and ratings. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) based on a shift pattern.
