Job Summary

Gem Partnership Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines, hydraulic or mechanical presses, and working to and understanding engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake machines to produce high-quality parts
  • Work on hydraulic or mechanical presses to meet production demands
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Set tools and conduct in-process inspections to maintain quality standards

Requirements

  • Experience working as a second person on press brake machines or experience working on hydraulic or mechanical presses
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings in first and third angle projection
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Working Conditions

  • Dayshift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Friday, 8:00am to 12:30pm
  • 2-shift rotation: Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm
  • Friday, 12:30pm to 7:00pm

Compensation

£13.73 per hour
