We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Additional Resources Ltd. as a key member of our accounting department.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing VAT and Corporation Tax returns, handling Self-Assessment Tax returns, and mentoring and training junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process VAT and Corporation Tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle Self-Assessment Tax returns with attention to detail and precision.
- Mentor and train junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to manage financial transactions and reports.
Requirements:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified AAT or ACCA Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- At least 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice, preferably in a senior or semi-senior role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Competence in using accounting software and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
