We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team at Minehead Medical Centre, part of OneMedical Group. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the future development of our service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of long-term health conditions
- Conduct venepuncture, blood pressure, ECG, height/weight/BMI, health promotion, childhood and adult immunisations, wound care, contraception, cervical screening, and spirometry
- Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, COPD, and asthma
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent nursing care and maximise Practice income
- Registered with the NMC
- Degree in Nursing
- Substantial Practice Nurse experience
- Evidence of ongoing CPD
- Minimum of 1 Long Term Condition diploma
- Familiarity with Patient Group Directions (PGD's) and associated policy
- NHS Pension with 20.6% Employer Contribution
- 25 days / 200 hours / 5 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata, if part-time)
