About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant to a university student with a disability. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide academic and social support to our client, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support, including note-taking and assisting with university work
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
  • Accompany our client to social events and activities, promoting independence and social interaction
  • Manage medications and care routines, ensuring our client's health and well-being
  • Participate in household chores and maintain a clean and safe living environment
Requirements
  • Be physically fit, calm, patient, and caring
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Have a good sense of humour and be able to build a rapport with our client
  • Be mature and responsible, with a commitment to confidentiality
  • Have good communication skills and be fluent in English
  • Be clean and tidy in both appearance and habits
  • Hold a full clean UK driving licence and be confident in driving our client's adapted vehicle
About Our Client

Our client is a final year university student with a disability, who is studying Zoology at the University of Reading. They are a friendly and outgoing individual, who enjoys socialising and participating in activities. Our client requires support with daily living tasks, academic work, and social interactions, and is looking for a caring and motivated individual to join their support team.
