Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our Employment Team in Colchester. As an Employment Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of an experienced Partner with over a decade of Employment Law experience.

This role will provide you with the chance to gain experience in a wide range of Employment Law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious cases, across various sectors and industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Fee Earners with their caseload, providing administrative and technical assistance as needed.
  • Conduct research and analysis on Employment Law matters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent client care and communication.
  • Assist with the preparation of court documents, reports, and other materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Employment Law and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Paralegal or Assistant in Employment Law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with the option to work from home or in the office.
