As a key member of our dietetic team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition support to patients in critical care and cardiothoracic critical care units.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic dietitian to take on a leadership role in our critical care dietetic service. You will be responsible for supervising and training junior staff, as well as line managing band 6 and band 5 dietitians. Your clinical caseload will include level 2 and 3 critical care patients requiring parenteral and enteral nutrition.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nutrition support to patients in critical care and cardiothoracic critical care units
- Supervise and train junior staff to ensure high-quality care
- Line manage band 6 and band 5 dietitians to ensure effective team management
- Develop and implement service developments within critical care and respiratory specialities
- Participate in the setting of standards and policies within the Dietetic Department and across the Trust
We are looking for a dietitian with:
- Registration with HCPC
- Minimum five years' dietetic experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in teaching or training other health professionals
