About the Role: Network and Technical Specialist - Southern UK

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Technical Specialist to join our dynamic team in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in connecting with customers, enhancing their skills and knowledge, driving product adoption, and representing ZF at industry events.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to workshops through our innovative platforms, such as ZF [pro]Tech and ZF [pro]Points, fostering the growth of our network and training initiatives.
  • Offer technical and commercial assistance to workshop partners, nurturing relationships and expanding our network reach.
  • Deliver comprehensive technical training programs for distributors and partners, enhancing their expertise and capabilities.
  • Handle technical inquiries and warranty claims for all passenger car products and related mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with specialist departments to resolve technical issues, support warranty claims from a technical perspective, and contribute to product performance improvements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape within the workshop sector, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Represent ZF at trade fairs and industry events, showcasing our products and expertise to a wider audience.
  • Accompany the field service team on workshop visits, providing support to wholesale customers.

Your Profile:

  • Qualified vehicle technician with additional training preferred (e.g., master technician).
  • Demonstrated willingness to develop technical training skills is essential.
  • Existing experience in delivering technical training within the automotive aftermarket is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of ZF's Passenger Car market offerings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as MS Office and SAP is desirable.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages being a valuable asset.
