About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join our Market Risk Portfolio Analysis team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing critical reporting and governance routines for stakeholders, including external regulators and internal committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage several critical reporting and governance routines for stakeholders
  • Field ad-hoc questions and requests from regulators, internal senior risk leaders, and audit partners
  • Develop new reports and analyses for a wide range of activities
  • Maintain a good and robust control environment for all processes
  • Work with Technology and relevant supporting partners to correct issues and enhance functionality
  • Maintain, develop, and review documentation on processes, continuously looking to make improvements where possible
  • Coordinate ad-hoc critical updates on key market events, engaging with colleagues across Global Markets Risk
Requirements
  • Demonstrable financial experience
  • High level of Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectually curious with the ability to investigate and develop root cause analysis
  • Adept at communication with ability to influence co-workers across our global team and all levels of the organization
  • Attention to detail
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with market risk metrics like Value-at-Risk (VaR)
  • Academic achievement in numerical disciplines would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with coding, Python or SQL
