Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Architect to lead our residential development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing a wide range of residential developments from feasibility layouts to planning applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and design residential developments at all scales, from 10-500+ homes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client requirements.
  • Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that align with project goals and client needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously within strict timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working on residential housing developments in the UK.
  • Excellent residential layout design and architectural skills for outline and RM applications.
  • Good knowledge of the latest legislations and regulations, including CDM.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, with Revit experience an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior technicians.
