The Environmental Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Company complies with environmental regulations, minimises our carbon footprint, and implements sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and Implementing Environmental Strategies
The Environmental Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to address environmental challenges, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and pollution control.
- Influencing Operations Management
The Environmental Manager will effectively influence the decision of operations management in regard to environmental protection and management.
- Creating and Implementing Sustainability Policies
The Environmental Manager will create and implement policies related to sustainability, waste management, and chemical control.
- Conducting Environmental Audits
The Environmental Manager will conduct audits, assess environmental impacts, gather data, and recommend improvements.
- Educating Employees on Environmental Issues
The Environmental Manager will educate employees about environmental issues and responsibilities and create a culture of environmental awareness within all business practices.
- Coordinating Waste Management
The Environmental Manager will coordinate waste management, identify and implement recycling initiatives, pollution controls, and safe waste disposal methods.
- Liaising with Regulatory Bodies
The Environmental Manager will liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency as and when required.
- Assessing Environmental Performance

- Ensuring Environmental Legislation Compliance
The Environmental Manager will ensure that installation projects are carried out in line with environmental legislation and best practices are complied with.
- Staying Up-to-Date with Environmental Legislation
The Environmental Manager will keep up to date with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives relevant to the business.
- Project Management
The Environmental Manager will have the ability to take the lead on projects with experience of managing projects from start to completion.
- Knowledge of Environmental Policies
The Environmental Manager will have knowledge and understanding of relevant company Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Policies, Procedures, Instructions, and Risk Assessment Systems.
- Environmental Awareness and Communication

- Qualifications and Experience
