About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist/Endoscopist to join our clinical teams around the UK. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in well-equipped suites, providing out-patient support for clinics and undertaking endoscopy sessions.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients across the UK. This will involve working as part of a well-oiled clinical team, using the latest equipment and technology to deliver excellent patient care.

Requirements

  • A UK registerable Medical Degree
  • GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
  • JAG Accreditation

Experience

You will need to demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in the following areas:

  • Diagnostic Colonoscopy
  • Diagnostic Gastroscopy
  • Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
  • Ability to undertake clinical audit of work and apply findings to clinical work
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gaining UK CCST
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantive experience in the speciality
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
