About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid Support to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Bid Support, you will play a critical role in supporting our business development efforts by managing information capture, reporting progress, and assisting in responses to contract change notices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate information from various departments and roles to aid complete responses
  • Raise concerns up the chain of command
  • Confirm details of response with Commercial and manage any follow-up queries
  • Ensure all Contract Change Notices are recorded on the current system and assigned to a Bid Manager
  • Ensure responses are completed to a consistently high standard
  • This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role

Requirements

  • Ability to challenge and have tough conversations
  • Ability to make decisions based on information available
  • Ability to make prioritization decisions with limited resources
  • Ability to react to changing demands
  • Ability to communicate with multiple-level stakeholders (e.g., Supervisors, Workshop Managers, Site Managers, Programme Managers)

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 3 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Apprenticeship, national certificate (ONC), Level 3 NVQ) or equivalent experience

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
