Banking Associate

We are seeking an ambitious Banking Associate to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Banking and Finance team, you will work closely with our national team to advise clients on a range of financing transactions.
About the RoleAs a Banking Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Advising banks, alternative lenders, funds, and other corporate and institutional clients on financing transactions, including corporate banking, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, government finance, and debt capital markets transactions.
- Supporting the corporate and real estate teams on the financing aspects of private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions, property development, and investment financings.
- Participating in business development activities, including developing and sustaining relationships with clients.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Between 1 and 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a firm renowned for banking and finance work.
- Experience gained in the banking and finance sector, with a strong understanding of financing transactions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with clients.
- Self-starting with common sense and initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team.
