Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Manager to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and preparation of personal tax returns, managing tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, and providing high-quality service and advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 200 clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns and compliance.
- Deliver exceptional client service, providing tailored tax planning advice and recommendations.
- Lead weekly planning and scheduling meetings to optimize workflow and client service.
- Supervise and motivate support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Review and ensure accuracy of work prepared by team members.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks related to non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate time records and monitor performance against budgets and proposed fees.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and advice letters for clients and staff.
- Contribute to the firm's overall practice development and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT Qualified with 3-5+ years' experience in tax.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work successfully with a highly functioning team.
