About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections and Conservation Assistant to join our team at The National Trust. As a Collections and Conservation Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day cleaning and care of our collections, ensuring that they are preserved for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the housekeeping team to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our collections
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any signs of wear and tear or environmental issues
  • Keep accurate records of your work and report any concerns to the Senior Collections & House Officer
  • Lead a team of Conservation Volunteers to deliver engaging conservation in action, talking to visitors about the work you're doing and the collections we care for
  • Deliver bespoke tours to visitors, giving an insight into the work we do
