Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Catch22. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of young people aged 16-25.
Key Responsibilities- Build trusting relationships with young people and provide non-formalised therapeutic techniques to meet their needs.
- Identify and refer young people with complex mental health needs to appropriate agencies.
- Support young people to access a range of in-house and local services, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.
- Develop strong partnerships with local services through community orientation and outreach work.
- NVQ level 2 or BA/BSc degree in a relevant field, such as social studies or youth work.
- Experience working with young people in youth-based settings, providing one-to-one support and knowledge of good practice in emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Ability to work alongside staff from various agencies, including Youth Services, Social Care, and NHS.
- Understanding of relevant legislation, policy, and good practice relating to young people.
