Job Title: Engineering Lecturer

Newcastle College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Engineering Lecturer to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Deliver and assess high-quality learning programmes in Engineering across various levels of further education, higher education, and/or apprenticeship provision.
  • Undertake programme leadership, tutorial, and programme administration duties.
  • Hold a strong background in Engineering and a proven track record of professional/vocational expertise in the Engineering sector.
  • Be qualified to honours degree level (Level 6) or qualified to the industry-recognised standard in a relevant field, hold a post-16 teaching qualification, and English and maths qualifications at level 2, or be willing to achieve these within an agreed timeframe.
  • Have experience in effective programme leadership in FE, HE, and/or Apprenticeships and a proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice.
